Lhoka Potatoes Popular Among Consumers

Villigers in Gedan village of Changguo township in Lhoka are trying to dig red-peel potatoes, photo from chinatibetnews.com.

Changguo township is suitable for planting potatoes for its special geographic position and climate. Red-peel potato is very popular among customers since it enters market in Lhasa and Lhoka. The planting area in Lhoka will be increased to 6,500,000 mu (a unit equals to 1/15 hactare) and earned estimated 100,000 yuan (13,157.89 USD) in cash.
